Ingredients
Breakfast Yogurt Bowl
1 cup vanilla yogurt
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup blueberries (or other fresh fruit)
1/4 cup sliced strawberries (optional)
1/2 kiwi, peeled and sliced (optional)
1/4 apple, diced (optional)
1/2 banana, sliced (optional)
1/4 cup pineapple chunks (optional)
1β2 tablespoons Grape-Nuts cereal or granola
Instructions
Spoon 1 cup vanilla yogurt into a serving bowl and smooth the top.
Sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon evenly over the yogurt.
Top the yogurt with 1/4 cup blueberries and any additional fruit such as 1/4 cup sliced strawberries, 1/2 sliced kiwi, 1/4 diced apple, 1/2 sliced banana, or 1/4 cup pineapple chunks.
Finish the bowl with 1β2 tablespoons Grape-Nuts or granola for crunch.
Serve immediately while the cereal or granola is still crisp.
Notes
Use whatever fruit is in season: peaches, mango, pears, grapes, or melon all work well.
For extra protein, add a tablespoon of chia seeds, hemp hearts, or chopped nuts.
Greek yogurt works if you prefer a thicker, higher-protein bowl.
